Marketplace safety

• Meet in public, busy campus locations.
• Inspect items before paying. Pay in person — never in advance to strangers.
• Tervio does not hold funds and does not offer escrow. Anyone claiming "Tervio will protect your payment" is lying.

Accommodation safety

• Physically inspect properties before paying any money.
• Verify agents; ask for identification and receipts.
• "Verified" badges mean our team completed a check — still do your own due diligence.

Report a scam

Use the Report button on any listing, profile or message. Include screenshots where possible. Urgent fraud can also be reported to campus security or the EFCC.
